Grocery Store & Restaurant Labels
Odds are, you’ve seen my work at your local grocery store. Pennsylvania alone provides 60% of the country’s mushrooms, and my time at East West Label Co. has given me firsthand experience making labels for the country’s largest produce growers. Besides single-handedly making the printing plates for an entire factory, I’ve personally designed, prepped, proofed, and even helped operate industrial flexo and digital presses to print millions of labels. Be it for fruit, veggies, vanilla pudding, baked goods, molasses, herbs, or spices (to name a few), I’ve produced artwork for the US’s largest grocery stores and farm collectives.
My handiwork frequents Giant, Costco, Safeway, Walmart, Publix, Kroger, Trader Joe's, ACME, Weis, Harris Teeter, ShopRite, Lidl, Aldi, Food Lion, Uncle Giuseppe’s (Italian grocery chain in the Northeast USA), as well as broader cross-store brands like Dole, Naturipe, Green Giant, Top Crop, and Jersey Fresh. I’ve also done work for local pop-up stores, nonprofits, roasteries, and dozens of local restaurants (both chains and smaller standalone businesses) in the Philadelphia area.
On an international scale, I’ve worked to quickly label produce for Canadian and US markets from growers in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, China, the Netherlands, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, South Africa, Canada, and almost all US states east of the Mississippi.
All labels were made in Illustrator, occasionally using Photoshop to create more detailed work for high-quality digital printing.
