Muertos Halloween Skull

For the Halloween 2023 season, I was commissioned to create an interesting design that would go on to be printed onto t-shirts and stickers. My linework-focused artwork was inspired by the Día de los Muertos holiday held in early November and combines the macabre with bright joy and beauty. Smaller details in the illustration also pay homage to the Indigenous, Mayan, Aztec, and Hispanic roots of the motifs.
