“Helpful Corn” Team Mascot

I was approached by a Maryland ultimate frisbee team in hopes of bringing their “helpful corn” mascot idea to life (itself a reference to an inside joke of theirs). Communicating with the team captain, I designed and illustrated a humanoid adaptation of corn, complete with a silk mohawk and green-husk gloves. Technique-wise, I am proud of tackling the challenging task of creating a sharp, stylized anthropomorphic vegetable using complex gradients, sharp linework, and text ornamentation.

Additionally, at the request of the team captain, I made a separate file for Pantone color-matching so that they could print the colors accurately; the vector artwork would go on to be used on frisbees and other team apparel.
