UMD Pride Prom 2022 Marketing Campaign

As marketing chair of Pride Alliance, UMD's large umbrella organization for all queer campus groups, it was my job to design the flyer for the season's largest event: Pride Prom. Given an extraterrestrial/space theme, I single-handedly drafted, designed, and updated the poster that would go on to become our main form of advertising in both physical and virtual settings.

Of particular importance was my ability to stay organized with various ongoing prototypes; I communicated clearly with the planning committee to make adjustments, update sponsor lists, and balance their text demands with artistic sensibilities. I also readily adjusted inevitable, sudden last-minute changes meant even as the committee was brushing up to last-minute publication/printing deadlines. Nonetheless, my multitasking skills allowed me to excel and produce quality artwork even under pressure and time crunches.

The end result successfully captured the celebratory intent of this wholesome queer dance event. Even university partners for the event went out of their way to compliment the final version of my printed flyer!
