Personal Cookbook Design Project
In an English food literature class, I was required to communicate a recipe of personal significance in any manner I saw fit. Naturally, given my passion for graphic design, I created a cookbook template and designed four pages of a cake-like protein dessert. Additionally, I've included in the project folder the full pdf version as well as my drafting process and overall workflow.
All in all, I'm particularly proud of how this work implements three major areas of software proficiency. I created smaller drawings in Adobe Illustrator, high-resolution edits of my armor photography in Photoshop, and combined them all in InDesign. This piece marks how my amateur foundation of practical, hands-on experience has since increasingly been supplemented by academic theory and experience within UMD digital rhetoric and graphic design classes.
